Anika the Dog needs a home

My name is Anika and I am a 2 1/2 year-old female Border Collie / Pit mix. I am a wonderful, sweet girl who loves humans and familiar dogs. I visited my foster mom's family farm in the fall and I spent a lot of time "herding" cattle and roaming the fields... (a trait I guess I must have been inherently born with as part border collie)! , I am very smart and have had extensive training through Prestige K9 in Elizabeth. If you take me home, Prestige will offer free monthly classes for us so I can keep up on all of my training and commands. , I am young, energetic pooch who loves to play tug of war, catch balls and chase after freebies. I would love a big yard so we have plenty of space to play together. Or, because of my mad, instinctual skills as a herder, I would also be great on a ranch or farm. Do you like to run or hike? I would be great at that too... , I am the perfect dog for just the right person or family. Come meet me! , , ,
